Gift Aid schedules, without the late-night spreadsheet battles
Donor Schedule turns the donation export you already have into HMRC's own Gift Aid schedule spreadsheet, filled in and ready to upload to Charities Online. It runs in your web browser, and your donors' details never leave your computer.
Start from what you have
A spreadsheet, or an export from Stripe, PayPal, SumUp or your bank. Save it as CSV and drop it in. We work out which column is which, and you can correct anything we get wrong.
Catch the problems first
Postcodes without a space, titles with full stops, hyphenated surnames, dates in the future, donations over £500 marked as sponsored. We point each one out in plain English and fix the simple ones for you.
Upload with confidence
We fill in HMRC's own template, with the worksheet name and layout left exactly as HMRC made it, and save it as the .ods file Charities Online expects.
Your donors' details stay with you
Everything happens inside your browser. There is no upload and no account, and we have no copy of your donor list, so there is nothing of yours for us to lose. Close the tab and it is gone. You can read more in our privacy notice.
Who it is for
Treasurers and volunteers at small charities, churches, sports clubs and community groups who claim Gift Aid through HMRC Charities Online and would rather not spend an evening fighting the schedule spreadsheet. If you already have a full donor database that produces HMRC files, you probably do not need us.
Checking is free
Load your file and see every problem the checker finds, at no cost and without signing up. When you are happy and want the finished HMRC files, it is £59 a year for as many claims as you like, or £15 for a single claim. See pricing.
What we are not
We are not HMRC and we do not give tax advice. We do not handle donations or submit claims for you. You still need valid Gift Aid declarations for every donation you claim, and you upload the finished file to Charities Online yourself. Our help pages explain the common upload errors in plain English, whether or not you use Donor Schedule.
